Massotherapy

Chinese Massotherapy, also known as Tuina, is another important therapeutic tool of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Tuina practitioners use a wide range of hand techniques to massage the soft tissue (muscles and tendons) of the body along meridians to directly affect the flow of Qi, and to realign the musculoskeletal and ligamentous relationships (bone-setting). In Sinocare, we often use Tuina alone or together with acupuncture to treat various pain cases or relax patients.

Acupuncture

Acupuncture – we use authentic Traditional Chinese Medicine acupuncture to treat our patients. For certain conditions, ear acupuncture, stomach acupuncture and electrical acupunctrue are also used when approperiate.

Infertility acupuncture – after years of exploration, Aina has formulated her unique diagnose and treatment techniques, which have been proven to be very effective in the treatment of male and female infertility.

Meridian Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture – Facial skin is delicate, so special needling technique is developed to minimize potential under skin bleeding and to improve results.

Tele-consultation

Tele-consultation (via Video, phone, email) – Using Video (Skype or Facetime), telephone or email, we provide support for patients who are unable to come to Sinocare for treatment, subject to surcharge (see Fees). We can provide TCM evaluation, acupuncture points and herbal medicine.

Services

Historically, Traditional Chinese Medicine has five healing technicques: acupuncture (针灸), herbal medicine (中药), massothreapy(按摩), dietary regulations (食疗) and therapeutical exercises, such as T’ai Chi (太极), Kong Fu (功夫) and Qi Gong (meditation, 气功).

Like any other tool, the treatment efficacy of acupuncture and herbal medicine treatment really depends on the practitioner who use it. Don’t despair, even you had disapointing result elsewhere.

Chinese Herbal Medicine

We carry over 200 single herbs in powder form and are able to provide infinite numbers of formulas to fulfill the needs of our patients. Used expertly, herbal medicine is equally, if not more, potent and versatile than acupuncture. Majority of patients in Sinocare use herbal medicine daily and we can achieve much better therapeutic results when acupuncture treatment is integrated with herbal medicine treatment.
